It is said that Mbah Irogati created a large basin to collect water from the spring overnight. Locals also believe that the spring has the power to cure various diseases.
Another legend involves the Sengkaring fish, which is said to have been in the spring for hundreds of years. These fish, which are black with red accents and range from 50 to 170 cm in length, are believed to remain constant in number despite frequent fishing attempts by locals and visitors.

Sumber Jenon features a swimming pool-like area with brick walls and a distinctive Jenu tree that stretches from east to west within the pool. Surrounded by large trees, the area provides a serene and cool atmosphere, perfect for relaxation.

Sumber Jenon Opening Hours

Sumber Jenon is open daily from 8 AM to 6 PM. You can visit with either two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles. For larger groups traveling by medium or big buses, it's best to avoid the area due to narrow roads. However, vehicles like elves or hiaces can still access the site.
